Minister of State for HRD Shashi Tharoor on Sunday described music director K J Joy’s contributions to film music as “incomparable’’.
“He brought new trends to Malayalam film music,’’ Tharoor said.
He was speaking after inaugurating a function organised by the Kamukara Foundation for presenting the 2013 edition of the Kamukara Award to Joy. A panel consisting of Perumbavoor Raveendranath, Dr Janaki Devi and Ravi Menon had selected Joy for the annual award.
