Jailed Peoples Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasser Madhani, granted bail to attend his daughter's marriage, will make his trip to Kerala under tight security and in full adherence to the bail conditions, a minister said Friday.

"We will ensure that all the bail conditions laid down by the court are adhered to," Kerala Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan told reporters at Kottayam.

He said Additional Director General of Police A. Hemachandran will head the security team for Maudany, who is lodged in Bangalore jail since August 2010 for allegedly conspiring in the 2008 Bangalore bomb blast.

Madhani will arrive here Saturday and would drive to Kollam, about 70 km from the state capital, to meet his daughter and attend her marriage Sunday.

"I am extremely delighted and thankful to all who took initiative in getting bail for my father. I am just waiting to see him," his daughter told reporters at her home near Kollam.

Madhani has to return to Bangalore jail latest by March 13. His bail conditions stipulate that he should not speak to the media.

Sources close to Madhani said that he would be resting at a private medical college hospital near Kollam.
