Mukul Wasnik to streamline Congress affairs

Giving indications that the Congress high command is not going to leave issues in the Congress and its role as the UDF

Express News Service

Giving indications that the Congress high command is not going to leave issues in the Congress and its role as the UDF leading partner in the state as it is, understandably after party president Sonia Gandhi got a fair idea of the grass roots level issues, AICC general secretary in charge of the state, Mukul Wasnik, will attend the next KPCC-Government coordination committee meet.

He will reach the state on October 10. The UDF liaison committee will also meet within two weeks. Mukul Wasnik will also embark on a mission to visit party workers and leaders. Before concluding her two-day itinerary in the state capital recently, Sonia took stock of the grievances of UDF coalition partners, especially IUML and KC(M), apart from the running feud between ‘I’ and ‘A’ factions.

The high command is aware that the situation in the state holds not much hope for the UDF and the Congress.
