We had deployed our officials for checking persons who looked suspicious. We noticed the arrested persons passing through the green channel.

The gold consigned in their baggage was seized during  checking. The arrested persons were acting as carriers for gold smuggling rackets.  We are interrogating the arrested persons for gathering details of the people who handed over the gold to them,” the DRI official said.
