KOLLAM: The annual Bishop Jerome Memorial South India Inter-collegiate Paper Presentation Competition will be held on December 18. The topic for this year’s competition is ‘Mangalyaan Raised India’s Stature’.

 The organisers, in a press note, said that the contest is open to all university students of regular UG and PG Courses. The papers may be presented in either English or Malayalam. They also added that each contestant will be allotted 10 minutes for presentation and an additional 5 minutes for a discussion with the panel of judges.

 The student who comes first will be given a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and presented with the Bishop Jerome Memorial Ever-rolling Trophy.

For the second and third spots, cash prizes of Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively will be presented, along with trophies.

 The competition, being organised by the Parent-Teacher Association of the Fatima Mata National College, will be conducted at the Bishop Jerome Auditorium at 9.30 am.
