Training in Rubber Sheet Processing

KOTTAYAM: The Rubber Board will organise a two-day training programme in rubber sheet processing and grading at the Rubber Training Institute here on December 18 and 19 . The fee for the training will be `800 with 12.36 per cent service tax extra.  However, participants who belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) communities will be eligible for a 50 per cent fee concession on production of a caste certificate. 

The members of Rubber Producers’ Society (RPS) will also be given a 25 per cent concession in fee on production of a membership certificate. According to Rubber Board authorities, the training is intended for growers, dealers, product manufacturers and workers engaged in latex processing and sheet making.
