Scores of people belonging to various walks of life paid last respects to priest and noted activist Fr Thomas Kocherry who passed away here the other day.
The body was kept at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Muttada,from Sunday morning for the public to pay homage. K Muraleedharan MLA also paid tribute to Fr Kocherry. The funeral would be held at 3.30 pm in the church on Monday. Kocherry, who was in the forefront of struggles for social justice, died of cardiac arrest at the Muttada Church on Saturday. He was 73.
