MALAPPURAM:  An orphanage at Vattathoor near Perinthalmanna has come under the scanner of the Child Welfare Committee for bringing around 60 children without proper documents. The railway police at Palakkad took the children into their temporary possession on Sunday when they found them bringing the children without proper documents. CWC Malappuram received the children from Palakkad and shifted them to a shelter in Thrissur on Monday. They brought the children to Malappuram to complete the legal formalities before moving to Thrissur. The CWC sitting on June 2 in Thrissur will consider the legal steps.
