K V Anoop Passes Away

KOZHIKODE: Writer and journalist K V Anoop, 42, died here on Monday. He had been undergoing treatment for kidney ailments at a private hospital in the city and breathed his last around 11 am.

He is survived by wife Sweety and daughter Ithal. The cremation will be held on the premises of his residence at Mooryad Vayalumbhagam near Koothuparamba in Kannur district at 9 am on Tuesday.

Anoop, who had been working as chief sub-editor with Star and Style, a publication of ‘Mathrubhumi,’ had authored many books, including ‘Ananthapathuvinte Prasangangal,’ ‘Kazhchakkulla Vibhavangal,’ ‘Ammadaivangalude Bhoomi,’ ‘Maradona: Daivam, Chekuthan, Rakthasakshi’ and ‘Messi-Tharodhayathinte Katha.’
