THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major shuffle in the police department, Loknath Behera has been posted as Additional Director General of Police at the police headquarters.
Behera, who was earlier Addl Director General of Police (Modernisation), will also hold additional charge of the post of ADGP (Special Services and Traffic).
In Behera’s place, Arun Kumar Sinha has been posted as ADGP (Modernisation). He was earlier ADGP (Special Services and Traffic).
Shaik Darvesh Saheb, who was Additional Director General of Police (Modernisation) has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (Vigilance II).
P Vijayanand, who was Additional Director General of Police (Vigilance II) has been transferred to the Fire and Rescue Services. RRRF, Malappuram commandant P A Valsan and Kozhikode City Police Commissioner A V George have been mutually transferred.
