KOCHI:Kochi-resident Elizabeth Thadikaran, winner of the Miss Kerala pageant in 2011 and the Navy Queen contest in 2010, has become the first runner-up in the Miss India Worldwide Canada pageant.
The pageant was held in Toronto, Canada on May 1, and was contested by 12 finalists from 1,000 applicants.
The grooming began on April 27.
Elizabeth, a model who is practicing as a house surgeon at the MS Ramaiah Dental College, Bengaluru, hails from Kochi.
