Sathyan Award for Suresh Gopi

Actor Suresh Gopi has been selected for the national film award instituted by the Sathyan Foundation. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will give away the award at the Sree Karthika Tirunal theatre here on November 9, the 103rd anniversary of the late actor.

Health Minister V S Sivakumar will preside over the function and actor Madhu will deliver the keynote address. Mayor K Chandrika, litterateurs George Onakkoor and Ezhacherry Ramchandran will offer felicitations. A music concert led by playback singers Sudeep Kumar and G Sreeram will follow the function, Sathyan Foundation chairman Jeevan Sathyan said.
