ALAPPUZHA: District panchayat will open its Gender Park for women near Alappuzha General Hospital Junction on September 15. G Sudhakaran MLA will inaugurate the park and K C Venugopal MP will inaugurate the public meet. District panchayat president U Prathibha Hari said the project was sanctioned by the panchayat in 2012 and the park is being set up in collaboration with Kudumbashree Mission and Social Welfare Department.
