Islamic Scholar Cherussery Zainudheen Musliyar Passes Away

KOZHIKODE: Islamic scholar and general secretary of Samastha Kerala Jammiyathul Ulama (SKJU) Cherussery Zainudheen Musliyar passed away at a private hospital in Kozhikode on Thursday.

The mortal remains of Zainudheen have been taken to his residence in Kondotty. He served as the pro chancellor of Darul Huda Islamic University, Chemmad in Malappuram. He was Quazi of hundreds of Mahalls in different parts of Kerala.

He is survived by wife, two sons and two daughters. His final rites will be held at the Darul Huda kabristan in Chemmad at 4: 30 pm.
