PALAKKAD: Noted director and script writer V R Gopalakrishnan, 59, died at his home in Ramanathapuram here on Monday.
He had directed films like ‘Bharya’ and ‘Kakkathollayiram’.
He had also written the script for films like ‘Chithram’, ‘Vandanam’ and ‘E Parakkum Thalika’.
He was the associate director of Priyadarshan for a long time for films like ‘Akkara Akkare Akkare’ and ‘Vellanakalude Nadu’.
