THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan announced the new office-bearers of the BJP Kerala unit on Sunday.
K Surendran (Kozhikode), A N Radhakrishnan (Ernakulam), M T Ramesh (Kozhikode) and Shobha Surendran (Malappuram) are the new general secretaries.K P Sreesan, P M Velayudhan, George Kurien, P P Vava, N Sivarajan, M S Sampoorna, Pramila Naik, Nirmala Kuttikrishnan and B Radhamany are the vice-presidents.
V V Rajesh, C Sivankutty, V K Sajeevan, A K Nazeer, B Gopalakrishnan, C Krishnakumar, S Girijakumari and Raji Prasad have been appointed secretaries.
The following are the new district presidents and general secretaries: K Sreekanth (Kasargod), Satyaprakash (Kannur), Saji Shankar (Wayanad), Jayachandran master (Kozhikode), K Ramachandran (Malappuram), E Krishnadas (Palakkad) A Nagesh (Thrissur), N K Mohandas (Ernakulam), N Harikumar (Kottayam), Binu Kaimal (Idukki), K Soman (Alappuzha), Asokan Kulanada (Pathanamthitta), G Gopinath (Kollam) and S Suresh (Thiruvananthapuram).
Pratapachandra Varma is the new treasurer and J R Padmakumar, the new spokesperson.
Adv K P Prakash Babu is the new president of the Yuva Morcha and Renu Suresh will head the Mahila Morcha.
P R Muraleedharan and P Sudheer will head the Karshaka Morcha and SC Morcha respectively. Jiji Joseph is the new Minority Morcha president and Punchakkari Surendran is the new OBC Morcha chief.
The BJP published an 18-member state committee and the names of the zonal office-bearers. V V Rajan heads the north zone while Narayanan Nampoothiri and Villiyamkulam Parameswaran head the central and south zones respectively.
Venkaiah Naidu to Kickstart BJP’s Poll Drive
Kasargod: Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu will launch the Bharatiya Janata Party’s state campaign- Vimochana Yatra- for the Assembly election at Uppala near Manjeshwaram on Wednesday. BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan- who is leading the Yatra- will tour all the 140 Assembly constituencies promising food, water, land, jobs, and equal justice for all, said the party leaders. The launch will be attended by state party leaders and actor Suresh Gopi, they said. “Kummanam Rajasekharan will address the public at all the five assembly constituencies on Wednesday itself,” said a leader.At 6.30 pm on the same day, the BJP president would address a rally in Payyannur.
