Kerala HC: File Case Diary in Assault Case

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday directed the police to produce the case diary pertaining to the alleged attack on an Additional District Magistrate (ADM)of Idukki District  by E S Bijimol MLA at a private estate at Thekkemoola near Peruvanthanam. The ADM had arrived at the place to implement a court order.

Justice Sunil Thomas issued the order on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Bijimol, who is accused in the case. The High Court also granted permission to ADM Moncy P Alexander to implead in the case, and ordered to produce the video-graph of the incident.

Bijimol contended that there was no need to arrest her, and that she was willing to cooperate with the investigation.

Meanwhile, Justice B Kemal Pasha adjourned hearing of the petition filed by the Additional District Magistrate, seeking a directive to expedite the investigation against Bijimol.
