MALAPPURAM: Anakkara C Koyakkutty Musliar, former president of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, a prominent Sunni Islamic organisation, passed away following age-related ailments. He was 81.
The Sunni scholar breathed his last at 9.40 pm on Tuesday at Eedappal, near here. Koyakutty Musliyar was also the executive member of the Samastha Religious Board of Education and member of Jamiya Nooriya Board of Examination.
His body will be kept at Darul Hidaya School, Edappal, for public to pay last respect.
