KOCHI: CPM strongman and Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan has been named as an accused in a supplementary charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the sensational murder of RSS Kannur activist Kathiroor Manoj in 2014.

Five others are named as accused: Rajesh, Sunil Kumar, Mahesh, Sajilesh and Rakesh, all of whom were allegedly involved in the conspiracy and abetment of the crime.

The CBI had earlier filed the first charge sheet in the case, listing 19 people as accused and 200 as witnesses.
