KOZHIKODE: Serious lapses in the preliminary investigation of the case and the manipulation of autopsy report made it is easy for Krishnadas to get anticipatory bail, said Jishnu Pranoy's family while speaking to reporters.

They alleged that CCTV footage was destroyed by the college authorities and the second autopsy report was manipulated by doctors.

“We will meet the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and request him to do the needful to punish those behind the death of my son,” said Jishnu's mother K P Mahija, who wept inconsolably after hearing the news.

“We will ask the state government to approach the Supreme Court for a stay against the anticipatory bail granted by the High Court,” said K K Sreejith, Jishnu's uncle.

The family also said that they are helpless and expects the government's support ahead to put Krishnadas behind the bars.
