KOCHI: Kerala High Court Chief Justice Antony Dominic on Saturday said it is now his responsibility as the CJ to uphold the image of the state’s judiciary which has a high reputation as one of the best justice delivery systems in the country. He was speaking at a felicitation programme organised by the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) in Ernakulam.

It is after a gap of 17 years a Malayali judge is adorning the post of Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. “I am fortunate to be appointed the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, the first Malayali jurist to be thus elevated to the top post after a 17-year gap. I regard this as a personal  achievement,” said Justice Antony Dominic.Former Chief Justice of Patna High Court Justice J B Koshy presided over the function.
