Trains rescheduled due to maintenance work at Shoranur

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: To facilitate the track maintenance at work at Shoranur, many train services have been rescheduled, announced the Railways on Saturday. While some passenger train services have been partially cancelled on Sunday, some of the long-distance trains would run with a delay of over 90 minutes. The services of Thrissur-Kozhikode Passenger (No 56663) and Kozhikode-Thrissur Passenger (Train No.56664) will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Thrissur. 

Train services to be regulated in Shoranur division on Sunday are: Hazrat Nizamuddin–Ernakulam Mangala Lakshadweep Express (No 12618) will be delayed by 80 to 90 minutes. Kannur–Alappuzha Executive Express (No 16308) will be delayed by 70 to 80 minutes.

Services to be regulated in Thiruvananthapuram division are: Ernakulam-Kannur Intercity Express (Train No.16305) will be delayed by 60 to 70 minutes. Alappuzha- Dhanbad Express (Train No.13352) will be delayed by 60 to 70 minutes. Nagercoil-Mangaluru Central Ernad Express (Train No.16606) will be delayed by 25 to 35 minutes.The service of Ernakulam- Nilambur Passenger (Train No.56362) will be regulated by 25 to 35 minutes, the Railways announced.
