CUTTACK: Head of the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences under SCB Medical College and Hospital here Prof HN Mishra has been nominated Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
The prestigious designation is bestowed on the physicians for their outstanding contribution to the field of cardiovascular medicine. As a Fellow, Prof Mishra would be involved in chalking out guidelines and policy making for improvement in cardiovascular care across the world.
The fellowship decree would be conferred on him during the annual convocation of ACC in Chicago early next year.
Prof Mishra has also been elected the president of the Indian College of Cardiology, the apex body of cardiovascular sciences of the country.
