BHUBANESWAR: Snehalata Dhal, wife of veteran journalist Barendra Krushna Dhal, passed away here on Wednesday. She was 67.
Snehalata was battling liver cancer for some time. The end came at a private nursing home in the City.
She is survived by husband, two daughters and a son. The final rites were conducted at Swargadwar in Puri.
People from all walks of life including Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Prasad Harichanadan, Mayor Ananta Jena and former minister Panchanan Kanungo condoled her death.
