BERHAMPUR:  Making a grand show of the Congress exodus, the BJD on Wednesday welcomed into its fold former Union Minister Chandra Sekhar Sahu, OPCC secretary Bikram Panda and district president Bhagaban Gantayat at a grand event at Khalikote University ground in presence of party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

As more numbers of Congressmen made a beeline for the ruling party, BJD supremo Naveen said people who work for the development of the State are always welcome to the party. Addressing the gathering at BJD’s ‘Maha Mishrana Parva’, Naveen exhorted the new party members and BJD leaders to work unitedly for the betterment of people of the district.
