CHENNAI: DMK leader M Karunanidhi said that he would chair the first meeting of Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation (TESO) here on April 30.
In a release on Friday, Karunanidhi also announced its members -- K Anbazhagan, K Veeramani, Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan and Suba Veerapandian.
Karunanidhi will be the president of the movement.
In another statement, the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam party chief said that the Eelam war was lost because of the dissension among Tamils who fought the war.
Taking a dig at Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Karunanidhi said that the Lankan Army had broken all the promises without any form of humanitarian consideration.
The Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam chief called for his party cadres to dedicate themselves to reviving the cause of Tamil Eelam peacefully as there were many instances of resurgence of Tamils throughout the history.
