The South Indian Purohits Association will observe its 54th anniversary on September 13 and hold a conference, State general secretary of the association A C Narasimhan said.
The event would be held at the Sri Sankara Mutt in Kancheepuram. The best functioning branches of the association would be felicitated on the occasion.
The members of the association would take a procession from Kancheepuram on Sept 13 morning, and reach Sankara Mutt.
