V Kumar Takes Charge as New CEO of Vellore

VELLORE: Two new Chief Educational Officers assumed charge here on Monday. V Kumar is the new CEO for Vellore while A Anitha is the additional CEO for the Sarva Siksha Abyan Scheme (SSA).

Kumar, who was earlier the CEO in Namakkal is replacing M Subramani, who has been transferred and appointed as the secretary of the State Parent-Teachers Association in Chennai. Anitha, who was the inspector of Anglo-Indian schools in Chennai, has been promoted as the additional CEO of the SSA here.

Kumar, who holds MSc, M Phil and BEd qualifications, had earlier served as the CEO of Kancheepuram and Erode. Members of the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary School Vocational Teachers Kazhagam met the CEOs.
