TAMIL NADU: A 25-year-old maid servant was allegedly gangraped and murdered by three persons, including a neighbour, in an inebriated condition in Kodaikanal, police said today.
The victim was alone in the house last night when the trio came and raped and murdered her, they said.
Neighbours, who heard the victim's cries, nabbed one of the three accused identified as Sampath while others managed to escape, police said.
Sampath has been arrested, police said, adding, efforts are on to arrest the other two accused.
