AIADMK Members Get Jayalalithaa 'Tattoo' to Mark Her 68th Birthday

The AIADMK cadre organised mass marriages event and got 68 couples married to mark the 68th birthday of their leader.

CHENNAI: As part of the 68th birthday celebrations of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party members got Amma’s picture tattooed on their arms.

The tattoos read ‘Amma everything for us’.

Meanwhile, the party members assembled at the headquarter here to celebrate Amma’s birthday.

“Amma is everything for us, she is like a god to us. To show gratitude, we tattooed her picture on our body parts. During the recent flood, she helped and gave Rs. 5000 as a relief amount to us and helped us to return back our normal lives,” said Devi, one of Jayalalithaa’s supporter.

“We are celebrating Amma’s birthday by tattooing our hand,” said Kannan, another supporter.

According to reports, birthday celebrations for Jayalalithaa had already begun in the state from the beginning of this month.

Earlier, the AIADMK cadre organised mass marriages event and got 68 couples married to mark the 68th birthday of their leader.

The party workers conducted mass marriages and placed bands on the grooms and brides heads with Jayalalitha’s photograph on it.

The entire backdrop and décor was done with Jayalalithaa’s posters.
