Nellai Auto Bazaar a Hit as Car Buffs Turn Up in Hordes

TIRUNELVELI: Auto giants racked up new models of cars at the two-day ‘Auto Bazaar-2016’ that opened here to a good response on Saturday.

Organised by The New Indian Express in association with the State Bank of India, the ‘Auto Bazaar’ was inaugurated by P Rajan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and Traffic, Tirunelveli City, in the presence of S Soundararajan, Regional Manager, SBI, M K Amuthu, Deputy General Manager, Indian Bank, Tirunelveli, and Siddharth Sonthalia, Tamil Nadu Assistant General Manager, Express Publications (Madurai) Ltd.

After inaugurating the expo, the officials took a look at the new models of cars on display. Attracted by the brand new models of automobile majors, visitors attended the expo in large numbers.

Bikes, autos, JCBs, auto accessories, tyres too were showcased. Two banks - State Bank of India and Indian Bank, reached out to the visitors with their products and schemes. In total, the bazaar has 40 stalls to boast of.
