MADURAI: Drawing a parallel between his party and that of Kamal Haasan, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hoped that the people of Tamil Nadu would script a new record in their support to the political outfit

Addressing the gathering during the public meeting organised by Kamal on the occasion of the launch of his new political party at Othakadai here on Wednesday evening, Kejriwal said that it was a great honour to be present at the launch of “a great political alternative.”

“I have always been a fan of Kamal as an actor and film personality. Kamal is not only honest but has great vision. The best thing I admire in him is the courage to speak up against injustice and communal forces in the country. Earlier, I was a fan of Kamal as an actor, but today I am a fan of him, for he is also a real life hero,” said Kejriwal.
