HMDA Workshop on Synchronisation of Development

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will organise a two-day workshop on challenges, updating and technology integration for implementation of Master Plan at MCRHRD, Jubilee Hills on August 19 and 20.

The HMDA, spread over an area of 7,257 sq kms, is the second largest metropolitan development area in the country. HMDA was formed by merging of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA), Hyderabad Airport Development Authority (HADA), Cyberabad Development Authority (CDA), Old Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad Area and Extended Area of HUDA.

After the merger, HMDA proposed to unify the five master plans to synchronise development. To address the issues related to seamless connectivity of the zoning regulations and area development plans, HMDA decided to conduct a two-day workshop on Wednesday and Thursday.

Principal secretaries, senior bureaucrats, institution heads, experts and technology partners will come together on a common platform to address these issues.
