HYDERABAD:In order to clear wait-listed passengers and extra rush of passengers, the South Central Railway will temporarily augment 18 trains with additional AC III tier, chair car, sleeper class, general second class chair car coaches.
The augmentation of coaches will make available around 18,080 additional berths and seats (512 AC III tier berths, 7,280 sleeper class berths, 6,480 AC chair car seats and 4,320 general second chair car seats).
The SCR will augment certain trains by attaching one additional sleeper class coach on a permanent basis.
Secunderabad-Tirupati Padmavathi Express will be augmented with one sleeper class coach on permanent basis from February 28 Secunderabad-Tirupati superfast express will be augmented with one sleeper class coach on permanent basis from March 3. After the augmentation, these trains will have 21 coaches.
