HYDERABAD: A clerk at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition was suspended by the principal for watching porn on duty on the institution premises.
IHM principal Sanjay K Thakur stated in a memo that the clerk K Ravindra Kumar was suspended for watching porn while on duty at his office desk on March 14 and 31. The action was initiated as per conduct rules with immediate effect.
“The clerk is not permitted to leave headquarters and is required to attend to the enquiry committee as and when required by them,” said Sanjay K Thakur.
Later, the principal lodged a complaint with the Amberpet police stating that the clerk was caught red-handed watching porn videos and the episode was recorded on a video by students. Amberpet Sub Inspector G Ravi said they received a complaint from college principal in connection with the incident. “We will bring the issue to court’s notice. Based on the court direction, we will initiate action,”Ravi said.
