HYDERABAD: Unable to arrange funds for her ailing husband’s treatment, a 58-year-old woman attempted to kill him on Tuesday. Later assuming him dead, she committed suicide by jumping from the 13th floor of their apartment building.
The incident took place at My Jewel Home in Miyapur police limits. The police said that the deceased Sai Lakshmi struck her husband YSR Muddu Krishna (63) with a wooden pestle to kill him.
However, her husband was admitted to a hospital and is undergoing treatment. The neighbours witnessed the incident and alerted the police after which he was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
