335 Judges Allotted to Telangana, 492 to Andhra Pradesh

HYDERABAD: Provisional allotment of sub ordinate judicial officers between the states of AP and Telangana has been completed by the High Court.

According to a notification published by the HC, 335 judicial officers, who are in the ranks of district judges, senior civil judges and junior civil judges were allotted to Telangana. 28 retired judicial officers were also allotted to the state.

AP was allotted 492 judicial officers and 34 retired judicial officers. The notification said the provisional allotments were made after availing options from the judicial officers. The HC registry asked the judicial officers to file objections, if any, on this allotment in a sealed cover to the district judge concerned by May 13. The district judges were asked to forward the objections to the HC by May 18.
