HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has decided to keep away from Rajya Sabha (RS) elections in Telangana, citing lack of sufficient strength to contest in the biennial elections.

The decision was taken at the Congress Legislature Party meeting held here in Hyderabad on Saturday. Congress Legislature Party leader K Jana Reddy, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Md Ali Shabbir, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, among others were present at the meeting.
