Students find Telangana Eamcet question paper easy

HYDERABAD: Most of the students seemed happy coming out of the exam centres on Friday as they found the question paper of Telangana state Eamcet easy.

K Srikanth, one of the students who took the exam said, “Overall, the question paper can be termed as easy. There were only a few tricky questions in mathematics and physics.”  P Srinivas, another student said, “Chemistry paper was easy. There were no numericals. Physics posed some challenge. There were a few questions which were of JEE level in physics and mathematics.”

PVRK Murthy, chairman of Sri Gayatri Educational Institutions said, “Nothing much different was seen in the paper this year as compared to previous years. There were two wrong questions in mathematics and one each in physics and chemistry in the engineering paper.”

As many as 1,31, 910 engineering candidates appeared for the exam. Exam for agriculture, pharmacy and allied streams was taken by 73,501 students. The percentage of candidates with issued hall tickets who gave the exam stood at 93.4 and 92.9 per cent respectively.

The exam was conducted at 246 test centres for engineering stream and at 154 test centres for agriculture and pharmacy streams. A total of 20,191 students gave the TS EAMCET from AP.
