HYDERABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to grant stay on the order of the Hyderabad High Court which stayed the GO issued by the Telangana government increasing the fee structure for the convenor and management quota seats for post-graduate medical seats in the state.
The bench made it clear that the fee would be subjected to final outcome of the PIL filed by the Healthcare Reforms Doctors’ Association and Osmania Junior Doctors’ Association.
Aggrieved with the same, the managements of private medical and dental colleges of the state moved the Apex Court for relief.
After hearing both the sides, the bench suggested the petitioner to raise their grievance before the high court. Meanwhile, the vacate stay petition by the private college managements against stay of GO will come up for hearing before the bench of Justice P Naveen Rao and Justice MSK Jaiswal on Thursday.
