HYDERABAD: The state government’s grant of permission for the audio launch of Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu’s starrer Bharath Ane Nenu at LB Stadium in the city has come in for severe criticism by M.Kodandaram, founder of newly-formed Telangana Jana Samithi which was denied permission to hold its maiden public meeting at the same venue recently.

Recalling that the government had denied permission for the TJS meeting either at LB Stadium or Saroornagar Indoor Stadium on the ground that pollution would be caused by the vehicles ferrying people to the meeting, the TJS chief and also TJAC chairman wanted to know whether the vehicles which brought people to the film function held at LB Stadium had not caused any pollution.

Going ballistic at chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said the chief minister was afraid of TJS and was, therefore, not allowing the TJAC and TJS to hold meetings. He made these comments on Tuesday while addressing a meeting held at Vikarabad.
