Vijay all set to croon for Bairavaa

From our online archive

Heroes singing for their films isn’t new to Tamil cinema. Kamal Haasan, Vikram, Dhanush, Simbu and Vijay have done it many times. After singing in Thuppakki (2012), Thalaivaa (2013), Puli (2015), Kaththi (2014), and Theri, we hear Ilayathalapathy has once again lent his voice! If we go by what we hear, the actor has sung a foot-tapping romantic number to Santhosh Narayanan’s music for his next film Bairavaa,
directed by Bharathan of Azhagiya Tamil Magan (2007) fame.

Sources said, “This one will be different from what Vijay has already sung like Selfie Pulla or Yendi Yendi. Santhosh felt if he sings, the song will have a different dimension.”

The audio launch is expected to be held towards the end of next month, and it looks like the audience have loads of surprise in store.
While Keerthy Suresh plays the leading lady, the film is expected to release in January for Pongal. Interestingly, in the last five years, Vijay has made it a point to croon at least one song in his films despite staying away from full-fledged singing.
