We had reported that Arumuga Kumar, former associate of Balaji Tharaneetharan, is doing a campus story with Gautham Karthik in the lead. Now, we hear that Vijay Sethupathi has joined the film. In a statement to the press, the director said Vijay Sethupathi was hungry for good roles and was open to doing anything.

“As soon as I narrated the script, he was very interested. In this film, he plays the role of a tribal leader Yaman. It’s not a serious character. We have given him a makeover,” he added. Gautham Karthik plays a college student, who is from a middle class family, and he sets out on a journey.

What happens next, forms the rest of the story. Touted to be an adventure comedy, the shooting will begin from February 15 in Chennai. Once this schedule is over, the crew will head to different forests in various States like Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
