Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 contestants Raiza and Harish Kalyan will be sharing screen space in a romantic comedy, directed by Elan of Grahanam fame.
Harish tells CE, “We’ll be shooting in another two weeks time. It’s an emotional feel-good love story set in Chennai. I play an innocent middle class guy, while Raiza plays an outgoing girl. Yuvan Shankar Raja is doing the music. I have grown up listening to his work; so this film will be special to me.”
Harish adds that Raiza was finalised only after auditions. “Almost 30-40 heroines auditioned for the role. The makers felt that Raiza was appropriate. She being a part of the film wasn’t my call,” he smiles.
Harish says he’s been pretty selective with films after his Bigg Boss stint. “I was already shooting for a film when I got an offer to be a part of the show. I’m currently busy with that film again.”
The makers of the untitled romcom are expected to share more details in the coming days, and the first look is to be revealed this week.
