The makers of Velaikkaran have decided to make a change in their crew. Earlier, editor Vivek Harshan, who bagged the National Award for his work in Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda, was signed on for the film. But now, he has been replaced by editor Ruben, who recently worked on Mersal and Vivegam.

Reports also suggest that the team is off to Ajmer, Rajasthan, to shoot a song that features Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara. Dance master Brindha is said to be choreographing this song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

It is also believed that major portions have been completed and the film will be censored by the end of November, to ensure that it gets a theatrical release on December 22 as planned. 24 AM Studios, which is producing the film, also have plans for a grand audio and trailer launch of the film in November.
