The starry starry nights

Movie stars and fashion are inseparable. If stars court couturiers to dress them up for red-carpet moments, designers want them to dazzle the ramp. Hence, it was inevitable to spot movie stars at PCJ Delhi Couture Week.

Tabu, the reclusive star, is the most unlikely showstopper. She walked the ramp in Anju Modi’s couture themed upon ‘Draupadi’. Must say she has a major ‘oomph’ factor about her. Tabu is known as moody and when she had to pose and change for press shoots, she didn’t shy away from expressing annoyance. Modi had to take FDCI President Sunil Sethi’s help to woo her and agree for a photo shoot.

Arjun Kapoor and his uncle Anil walked the ramp for PCJ Couture Jewellery show. Dressed in sherwanis, both looked great but the spring on chacha Anil’s feet left bhatija Arjun behind. But Arjun enjoyed female attention and we spotted him strolling the lawns with model Diva Dhawan past midnight.

Frieda Pinto travels true Hollywood style. Nobody was allowed to click her while she walked down from her suite to the ramp. Publicist, stylist, bodyguards and the works surrounded her. We heard Audi really had to pay big bucks to get Frieda introduce Audi R8 in India.
