Delhi’s ‘lunching ladies’ gathered at the China Kitchen in Hyatt Regency for a high-tea hosted by Divya Gurwara of Bridal Asia. Also on offer was a preview of the bridal collection of Nidhi Tholia and jewellery by Rawat Jewels. Bridal Asia is scheduled for first week of October but the warm-up to the event has started.

The ladies were mostly dressed in Indian traditional wear and yes, Birkin was the bag of choice for the ladies. Tholia’s collection was inspired by Mughal elegance and intricate ‘gotta patti’ work was her collection’s highlight. Rawat jewels of Jaipur showcased classic styles too.

Seen at high-tea party were Latika Khaneja, Seema Puri, Witty Bawa, Bela Madan with her teenage daughter, Sanya, Neena Verma, Ramola Bachchan and of course the gracious host, Gurwara. It was one of those rare occasions to see the lunching ladies in ethnic look.
