This summer, paying tribute to this strong, long-standing and continuing relationship, Italia launches its new summer menu showcasing some of the best in Italian cuisine.

The historic connections between India and Italy began in the 1st century when the two countries started trading. The con t of impetus today and remains strongly intact even in the 21 century. There is one thing that connects the two countries like nothing else and that is food. This summer, paying tribute to this strong, long-standing and continuing relationship, Italia launches its new summer menu showcasing some of the best in Italian cuisine. “This is by far, one of the most popular cuisines in the world. One cannot go wrong with it. It is versitile, varied and  vibrant. It is interesting to note that the cuisine of northern Italy is different from that of southern peninsula in a number of ways. The north Italian recipes uses more of butter, cream, cheese, meats and cold cuts, while in the south, the use of sea food, tomatoes and olive oil is more prominent and we are presenting you the best of both worlds,” says  chef Somopriyo Basu.

You can choose from Chicken Saltimbocca Romana, Spicy Prawn Soup with Zucchini and Garlic Bread, Potato Gnocchi with Roasted Garlic, Tomato, Goat Cheese and Basil Pesto, Open Ravioli with Chicken and Leeks,  Shrimps, Crab Meat and Mussel with a hint of Saffron, Pizza Italia that is the restaurant’s signature pizza with Pesto, Artichokes, Olives and Sun Dried Tomatoes, Norwegian Salmon with Olive Tapenade and Sautéed Vegetables, Chicken Milanese with salad of Cherry Tomatoes, Taggiasche Olives, Pickled Onion and Twice Cooked Pork Belly with Stewed Figs, Creamy Polenta and Zucchini Shavings and a lot more.
