You may remember Karan Johar’s earlier tryst with fashion. It was with established fashion designer, Varun Bahl. The duo launched Karan Johar+Varun Bahl, but that label died for unknown reasons. Buzz is that the joint menswear label had no real contribution from Karan. But that didn’t deter KJo from being a designer again and this time a womenswear designer.

The filmmaker designed a limited edition collection,  Marquee, for the high-street label, Vero Moda, and showcased it through a glitzy fashion show that had his B-Town friends gracing the evening. In fact the real hard work was put in by stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania, also the director of fashion at Vogue, India, to style the looks while Karan enjoyed the claim.

Kangana Ranaut was the showstopper and looked gorgeous as always. Others spotted were  Gauri Khan, Varun Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Anurag Kashyap, Huma Qureshi, Manish Malhotra, Lisa Haydon, Shamita Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, Sophie Choudhry, Raveena Tandon, Purab Kohli, Neha Dhupia, Nandita Mahtani and others.
