These days art dos attract the cream crowd of the capital. When Crayon Art Gallery hosted a bash to celebrate their opening at The Claridges Hotel, Delhi’s beautiful people turned up. The evening’s host Sanjeev Nanda of The Claridges and Amit Vadera and Gaurav Karan of Crayon Art are popular for hosting good soirees and the evening turned out to be more than that.

The new gallery exhibited 90 works of art by maestros like S H Raza, M F Hussain, F N Souza, Jamini Roy, Jogen Chowdhury and the likes. The guests glanced through the masterpieces before joining in chit-chat over cocktails.

We spotted Satish Sharma and Sterra Sharma, MP Kalikesh Singh Deo, artists Subodh Gupta, Jatin Das, Peter Nagy, designers Rohit Bal, JJ Valaya, Varun Bahl, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Pia Pauro, Gauri and Nainika, Ridhima Saini Kapoor, Raian Karanjawala, Sanjeev Bijli, Amit Burman, Akhil Nath, art collector Nitin Bhayana, Suresh Nanda, Saba Ali and many more enjoying the evening.
